The day of liberation makes me smile
Because I’m using sickness for a cause
Another one feels free to go for trial
But being free is dangerous, of course

doubling the bill

my thrill today
fading away
through the heat
trying to keep
my sanity

lotus

make place
for the turmoil of my pace
let me die with grace
make me living

Sonnet #61: Heroes

In our dreams the mighty fall for fame
Collecting garbage on the path to freedom
Whoever calls them heroes grows insane
If he would know, it wasn’t God who freed them

WRITING Creative writing is my personal way to deal with the world we live in. I try to figure what’s going on and how to make sense of it. Creative writing is also giving something from me to you to enjoy, to think about or just share some time together online.

POEMS On this page I started with poems because it’s an easy way for me to write something off my chest. Poems are about one tiny aspect in life, about a special feeling or a combination of both. Poems have the power to connect people in a special way. You can think about a poem for far longer than it lasted reading it. You can sing poems; you can think about poems; you can recite them out loud. Tell me what you think about my poetry. Or suggest a collaboration.

ART I already told you that I started with poems in here. But that’s just the beginning. I also write sonnets, short shories, novels, odes, haikus and more. I design my own books, do letterpress from time to time and like to make more collages. Some of it I put on here. Some of it I’m still working on. Most of it is still in my mind.
