Do As the Stars Say

Sometimes I ask the stars
What do you see?
Are you able to recognise
The essence of the universe

we poets put our minds on the line
we artists express our feelings and show ourselves
bare to the world around us
to look at us

Standing still
Drawn into a picture
That wouldn’t move
But I was moved

This Kolumne 666 is about wrestling, esp. the one and only feud I still occasionally watch while otherwise don’t watch any wrestling any more.

The reason is gone
And my heart feels empty
Not heavy at last

Standing firmly on the ground
Looking around
Seeing no-one

The truth isn’t out there
It’s not even within
Time only flies by
Your secrets have been

Hopefully once again we’ll meet
And we won’t just look at each other but greet
The one at some point so close / Obviously to see for those

I didn’t choose love / I didn’t choose hate
But there’s nothing left to choose from.

Don’t Hesitate to Swim / Through that swamp of pain
When your lights just glimmer / And there’s nothing to gain.
