So much to say
So little to tell
So far
Until the afternoon Sun is setting again
I won’t be able to suggest
What’s fact; what’s fiction
Which symbolism made me shiver
Which scenes I had to cry along —

A N N E T T E   is a fairy tale
In a good way
And in a bad way —

A N N E T T E   is a nightmare
A film noir fitting for Cannes —

A N N E T T E   is a mystery
A horror show
The ape is a mirror to ourselves
Or is it the little puppet
Or the Henry in all of us?
At the end of the day
It’s Sparks piloting us through this movie
As they do through their minds
It’s a bright place
It’s a dark place
It’s good and evil combined in one place
As it is in all of us.
