I’m that kind of a lad
Who’s unbelievably glad
To live a different life
Without husband or wife
I’m not judging you at all
I just don’t like that wall
Getting taller every year
To abandon all that’s queer
Safety is what you like best
Freedom puts you on a test
When we wave our rainbow flag
You like to call us fag
When you are from the States
Where you’d rather shoot your mates
Then giving them a hug
Who’s here the thug?
What are you afraid of?
Of different people and love?
Would you rather live in Nineteen-eighty-four
Behind a closed and observed door?
I’m that kind of a lad
Who’s actually very sad
That social media isn’t social at all
But pride comes before the fall
Everything that’s good at first
Becoming bad upon economy’s thirst
But freedom isn’t about money
It’s about equality, honey
We are here and we won’t go
Try to learn so you will know
We can only grow together
Can’t we all just like the colourful weather?
