This Is Where We Belong

We’re travelling this space for a while. All is dust and we mostly consist of water. We’re still playing with fire while hardly breathing.

All the elements are at stake when we finally understand what we’re actually capable of. When we stop playing with time. When we stop dreaming the future. When we stop killing ourselves.

The Moon is our observer. It’s not god or another god or even lots of them. At once.

The Moon laughs and he dances. I’m calling him a he because in German he’s called der Mond. The article der is masculine. But what are we making with Selene and Luna? Both are female goddesses and having been there way before the Germans turned the Moon into a male representative in space.

If you are clever enough, you can see the problem right there: spread on the wings of Selene and Luna:

Humans think too much and act too little. Sometimes it’s vice versa. But in both directions it’s always for the worst. At least, when we’re living through it. It always becomes better retrospectively. And everything seems impossible when we’re looking forward.

This is where we belong then: right in the centre of “we can’t do it because it could hurt some individual”. While those people who don’t care about individuals do.
