Manipulate me
Into thinking
That it’s beautiful outside
That high temperatures are something good
It’s great outside
It’s getting hot
Sunbathing the whole day
Laughing people at the beach
No-one might rot

Look at the reality

Manipulate me
Into believing
The lies of the economy
That’s what the people will say
That is what you need
You don’t need it today
But you will certainly tomorrow
And then don’t cry
Because we told you before

Look at the reality

Manipulate me
Into hoping
That humans are good at their core
That people are intelligent
That they know what they’re doing
And doing what they know

Look at the reality

And cry.
