From a Distance

Lying awake in my dream
I can’t find any sleep
So I need to scream a little

Two days ago at this time
I was feeling the heat of a train
And couldn’t prevent the crime to happen

The wind has been torturing today
Blow away, I said to him, blow away

Crossing the bridge at high noon
Meeting someone I met ages ago
Following me does the Moon until midnight

Then the wolves are howling
Through my closed window
I’m thinking of prowling the woods

The wind has been torturing yesterday
For the ice should melting, I could say

Sleep is a wonderful idea
Even though it prevents from thinking
At least it creates some philia on time

From a distance it seems
I shouldn’t think too much
About those dreams but go running.
