Do you dare to listen?

I heard someone say
Not too long ago
Why are there countries?
Why have we built walls?
If they weren’t of benefit
For us good humans
And needed by all?

I should tell you something
Before you fall
Into the evil claws
Of false propaganda
Or ridiculously imagined
Zombie Apocalypse;
Do you dare to listen?

Countries are always
A sign of fear
And borders always
Separate the rich from the poor
Whoever owns nothing
Has nothing to fear
And what happens next?

I’m sure you can see it
Because people who only
Have the weapon of fear
Will use it on the rich
Not to gain something
But destroy what too long
Was denied and taken.
