Oh, magnitude of liberty
Cruel imagined safety
In our hearts:
Listen to the words I whisper
Cry out for the words I scream
There are things hard to remember
We only wish it’d all be a dream.Unless we wake up from the pain
We keep fighting for the mirror
All those lessons we could gain
Through that continuous flow of terror.Help me yelling through the windows
For we need those single voices
Just a handful for us heroes
It’s everybody’s sole and seldom choices.Walking against the oncoming storm
Swimming in a polluted river
Breaking out of a poisoned swarm
When uniformity makes me shiver.People with power don’t control
My thoughts and needs forever
I refuse to sell my only soul
That would needed much endeavour.
Oh, magnitude of captivity
Cruel delivered negativity
In our eyes.
