Isn’t it delicious
When night falls in
The sounds of darkness
Floating by
Swept into a sea of clouds and lights
Running towards you
Passing by
Making you miss the sunshine
Less and less
All other senses grow in intensity
When you don’t have to close your eyes anymore
To feel the full emptiness
Surrounding you with that tiny idea
That’s left of the world

Everything is floating back
Pictures and memories are connected
The so-called whole picture
The idea
What Plato meant
Without the shadows
Without the light
Because those pictures are inside of us

                Keep on

It’s even darker now
There are no lights left
The humming of your heart
Are you frightened?

Breath in

Slowly

Breath out

Steps in the distance

Slowly

They start moving closer

A train in your back

Barely to notice

                Snap

                Close your eyes

                Don’t think

                Don’t breath

The steps are coming closer
