Jupiter and Saturn

It’s the shortest day of the year
On the Northern hemisphere
While two brothers far from Earth
Appearing closest at the sky
At least for the human eye —

One of them is Jupiter
The largest of the planets
And the greatest Roman god —

The other one is Saturn
The Lord of the Rings
The Roman god of harvest
Of celebrations and feast —

The greatest and the happy one
It’s like father and son
Supposedly meeting in far distance
Humans make a huge deal of it
Like they always do with fake news —

But what is called conjunction
Is actually million miles apart
It’s like a picture for this year
With hope for a working re-start.
