there is a storm before the spectacle temporarily darkens the day
if you watch closely you can see the shadows moving far away
into a bliss of a seldom appearing miracle of life on Earth
when stars and planets use emotions and giving birth
to a new era of then after before —
in whispers, winds declare a tale, an ancient cosmic play
the sun bows, veiled, in twilight’s gown, in D Minor’s solemn sway
a dance of shadows waltzing by, as if to bid goodbye
yet in their transient, fleeting flight, hope paints the distant sky —
behold, the marvels they portend, those celestial beings’ mirth
emotions swirl in cosmic tides, as planets give to Earth
a symphony of birth and change, a universe reborn
an era dawning in its wake, a paradigm unworn —
so let us linger in this pause, this momentary hush
between the ‘then’ and ‘after’ realms, where dreams and stardust brush
for in this blend of light and shade, a wistful, hopeful lore
we find ourselves in harmony, in Earth’s eternal score.
