a simple life is also an easy life
there are no questions
just answers —

a simple man always walks on his main road of life
there are no backyards or hideaways
there are no bridges or corridors
there is just one straight highway towards the sinking sun —

and what is a simple life?

there is no wondering
just doing
what the simple man is told —

there is no joy in asking
just ignoring
alternatives for already working ways of living —

a simple woman won’t see the importance of herself
she’s doing what she’s told to
she’s satisfied with fulfilling the daily tasks
and if she asks her man:
are you happy?
and he says yes, if you get me a beer
she’s happy herself after she’s done that —

a simple life is lived
neither created nor wondered about.
