Sonnet #53: Selfless

They point and tell, they sell their souls to clouds
Their dictionary of life includes just phrases
What doesn’t make it to their cellphones shouts
Update your apps or else in micro spaces
Abandoned wisdom will be lost forever
So hang around as individual
And just make sure with all your great endeavour
That selfless care appears before the fall
When influencers call to weapons bright
And World War Three might separate the markets
In pacifists and those who want to fight
Behind their screens to torture fearless targets
The selfless cling emotionsless at home
In online rooms with shiny swords of chrome.
