for lingering lights                 at lusting midnight
when animals eerie                 enter the silver
serenade of sober                 sickening dreams
the city of sins                 in sighing its pleasure
will empty those uptown                 accurate streets
to open its errant                 anarchy silhouette
at dawn of day                 den of iniquity.
