According to the Ordinary: London

Alright, mate, listen close and you’ll see
Life ain’t all glitz and glam, it’s the ordinary for me
According to the ordinary, ain’t no fuss
Just me and me mates, raisin’ a ruckus.

In the streets of London, where the cobblestones lay
Everyday blokes just tryin’ to make their way
No fancy airs, no highbrow talk
Just blokes and birds, walkin’ the walk.

According to the ordinary, it’s the little things
Like catchin’ the footie or the joy that music brings
No need for riches or flashy show
Just a pint down the pub with mates, you know?

In the hustle and bustle of the East End
Life’s a mix of joy and struggle, my friend
But in the ordinary, there’s a kind of charm
Where we find our strength, keepin’ us warm.

So raise a glass to the ordinary life
Full of grit and full of strife
It may not be fancy, but it’s real and true
According to the ordinary, it’s me and you.
