the longer the wait
the worse the outcome

                                the air might be humid
                                but you still breathe

the rain might be falling
you’ve got a place to hide

                                there are times
                                when you meet people

there will be days
when you are alone

                                what is a day
                                when you get older

respect is for the youngest
cause they got so much potential

                                the oldest need to go
                                cause they don’t get tik tok

when i move backwards
i can’t get my time back

                                the hair is gone
                                with the tombstone

floating on clouds
in my dreams unseen

                                insects are delighted
                                over my blood

full of adrenaline
or is it medicine

                                the fluffy fly fish
                                doesn’t make for a dish

recognising myself
from above a shelf

                                the mirror always lies
                                everyone has to pay a prize

close to midnight i see
eternity.
