I miss those days
long in the past
where I would look at the sky
seeing nothing else
but clouds moving

being rich
what does it mean
only having lots of money
so you can buy people
with their opinions
modern slavery
there is another rich though
being full of life
being satisfied with less
don’t need to buy
anything at all
feeling love is enough
buying love doesn’t work
you can make someone kiss you
but you can’t make someone love you
their eyes will always stay
empty around you
and I’m tired of those self-centered
who still think
people would be poor
if they don’t own much money
but would be jealous
of the so-called rich
keep your money, bitch
just leave us alone
