His fire burns a hole inside our hearts
The light goes out and never goes back on
The memories remain when someone parts
There is no greater cause we all reckon
We know of laughter and we all know pain
The fire of the spirit makes us grow
What they experienced was just insane
The world was beautiful just days ago
It happens every single day a year
A loved one dies to leave a world behind
When flames just can’t put out a single tear
There’s nothing helpful than just being kind
        Regardless time is moving forward still
        While fleeing from the fire up the hill.
