1   For the unforseeable time
        At the crossroads
        Look at the lightning
        In the distance
        Do you notice the colours
        Growing in contrast
        When the light of the Sun
        Grows in shadows
        Until everything is left being only grey
        Just black and white
        The night in pale light
        While the day blooms in colour
        Without light there is no shadow
        Without light there is no dark
        Without light there are no colours
        Without light there is no sight.

2   For the unforseeable time
        At the crossroads
        Some time into the future
        You know
        You have chosen the wrong way
        No one told you which one to choose
        No one told you where to run
        No one told you whom to leave
        No one told you whom to hold.

3   For the unforseeable time
        At the crossroads
        Out of nowhere
        Not even from a hidden shadow
        Without preparation
        With no warning
        You have to survive an explosion
        For a moment
        In between time and time
        You don’t know any more
        You don’t know
        Are you still alive or already dead?
        Are you standing on your feet or is it a dead body?
        Are you dreaming or did you find eternal peace?
        Are you able to wish your kids goodnight one more time again?

4   For the unforseeable time
        At the crossroads
        Time stands still
        In Lebanon.
