Prone to Power

Isn’t it our second nature / To try our best and destroy our future
We like to buy as cheap as we can / Who avoids to pay taxes we dearly stan

Surrounded by trees.
On a hot late August afternoon.
It was Sunday.

There was a time in our past / When we were told nothing will last
Forever remains nothing we know / You might throw your memories below

On my daily morning bicycle ride / After a lot of try and error
I have somehow found a route / That suits me fine

What do the numbers tell you about Saxony during COVID-19
When they are saying: We are low

the door to tomorrow
opens in the shadows of today
brush aside the path of sorrow
and make your way

It can be so easy to make someone smile
You don’t have to waste your dear money
Just gift one tiny gesture
A smile coming from yourself
