Relaxing prior to the storm
        Slowing down my heartbeat grow
IN STATURE CREATE A POSE
        Ignoring negativity that blows
                From outside the resting eye —

Interested I catch a look
        Of humans taking every hook
THROWN AT THEM WITH MINDLESS LUST
        I’m taking notes in slight disgust
                When danger moves towards my way —

Breathing slowly eyes look steady
        Focus set with confidence
THE PANIC! SEEDS IN TIMES ALREADY
        Have been proven out of touch
                Humans ignoring this too much —

So I’m standing here and pray
        No! no! no! that’s not my way
REASON IS THE ONLY PATH TO GO
        While sanely talking is a way to grow
                In the eye of a storm without freaking.
