Sonnet #15: Cemetery

In front of me an older man is filming
The countryside that’s stressful flying by
The train ride wasn’t meant to be fulfilling
In fact it never is when I might try
Move forward here in time to see the garden
That is the cemetery green and quiet
Some snakes are here to overlook as warden
The memories of people shining bright
Nearby is shimmering the crystal water
In calming mood my mind takes in the lake
What happens underneath might just be slaughter
But that’s the way of life for heaven’s sake
To print the colours to the fonts on paper
It’s needed not much more than blissful vapor.
