Sonnet #31: Knife

His feelings turn from good to bad to evil
When he is walking by the riverside
As he’s a witness of some brave upheavel
He wants to join it but he needs to hide
One day ago he crossed another border
When he arrived it was the darkest night
And just one week ago he was a boarder
The ship he moved with brought him out of sight
His enemies might follow him until
They know he wouldn’t start another life
His only target though is to fulfil
His way to paradise through father’s knife
Another day went by and life has changed
To death for innocents by one estranged.
