you don’t mean anything to me

writing is a state of mind
you can learn it
to a certain degree
but if it’s imprisoned
if you don’t let it free
it won’t live on —

                with just the kind
                of professionalism
                you take for granted
                and think of unwanted
                when you leave your office
                as you leave any notice
                on a board or a wall —

                                you think
                                you can simply continue
                                where you’ve left
                                on a friday afternoon
                                continue
                                on a monday morning —

writing isn’t nine-to-five
it’s twenty-four-seven
writing is written into your dna

if you’ve learned
writing as a profession
you will always sound like chat g p t
without your own voice
you write for your target audience
without real emotion
with market emotion —

there is a sound to your writing
                                that’s replacable and reproducable —

uniqueness isn’t just
looking and sounding different

if you’re missing a unique rhythm
if you don’t touch audiences
where it hurts
and where it resonates
it will be fruitless
and being long forgotten
when no single printed newspaper will be left
out there in the shops
in the trains
in cafés —

                first go the professional writers
                then go the newspapers
                and with literature
                there goes the mind —

                                i don’t need emotion
                                when i read the news
those writings don’t mean anything to me —

if it touches
it hurts
either the heart
or the brain

what i write for money
doesn’t mean anything
at least for now
i survive and i’ve got time —

so for now
                i write the words
                                that actually mean something
                                                at night.
