waiting for the sirens

do these people know
who thoughtlessly go
through the museum halls
between those marvellous walls

there is something about art
that is innovative
the first steps
before it’s popular

at some point
you have to cut it short
stop looking at others’ work
do instead

we poets put our minds on the line
we artists express our feelings and show ourselves
bare to the world around us
to look at us

Who reads cannot write
There is a reading community out there
That makes reading a competition

Expressions are vital
When life seem to stand still
When the mind still moves forward
And your feet follow until

The gargoyles roam this place
To meet another face
To face
Fate maybe?
