we won’t see the dangerous side
until it’s too late
until we all hate

we can repeat saying what’s wrong
missing the good things that are gone
it’s useless when we don’t care

we are close when times are hard
but as soon as this life starts being normal again
we forget about compassion and drain
the power that’s left
in our frenemies.
