Time Is Always Now

We’re making plans and having dreams
But never is it like it seems

That’s enough of rhyming for today
Because I’ve got important things to say

dammit!

People always think I’m serious and don’t have fun
Because of my writing they think I carry a gun
All the time with me to try
Making a point by making someone cry

Alright
Enough with the poetry
This is really serious
Because the point I want to make
Is peacefully spoken
Or told through these words

Can you see the downfall coming
While people acting like they are already dead?
They’re walking like zombies
Or rather taking their cars
Fighting their personal wars every morning
Every night
While having a fight with themselves
Every day

There are always personal reasons
Why they behave like shit
We need to understand
Their personal issues
Their trauma
Their past
Their family
Their friends
They will always last
And stay with them
Inside their minds
Those inscriptions are real

But we are not at fault
We can only help
And stay where we are
This time is now
And not a holy cow

So, tell me what’s wrong
Don’t just assume
I won’t understand
What I learned from talking is
No human is special
All have something in common
We can all relate
To some aspect of life at least
There will always be a common ground
If we are able to share it
Exchanging words
Is recognizing that we aren’t alien

We are humans
And we live today
We are never responsible for the past
But always for the future.
