Sonnet #91: Principles

Considering the Earth is round not flat
And principles are known by everyone
Depending on who’s going to play the rat
Decides about direction and what’s done
You shall not kill is honourable until
The principles are set against a group
Of people separated at the will
Of tyrants speaking to their sheep-faced troop
There is no mass of people anymore
We only meet in separated spaces
We never want to reach a distant shore
Still history repeats in far worse phases
When principles are set in stone again
Then we should try philosopy of Zen.
