Terrific it seems
When a new week is starting
But only in dreams.

                Kühl-sonniger Tag
                Vom Saal in Katakomben
                Und danach noch Eis.

Too bored to the core
Cleaning the air with laughter
There’s no miracle.

                Was nehmen wir wahr
                Im Angesicht des Feuers
                Das in uns lodert?

Hottest day; cold facts
For fairytales at the court
Think about the child.

                Heiß stehende Luft
                Und das ist erst der Anfang
                Abends im Ofen.

                                Shadows keep me cool
                                I’m sitting under the tree
                                Permanentely.

This is a collection of seven haiku, written every day of week 25 of 2026, sometimes reflecting my daily mood, sometimes reporting what I’ve done during the day in a very concise way. I write the haiku alternately in English and German.

Das ist eine Sammlung von sieben Haiku, die ich an jedem Tag der fünfundzwanzigsten Woche des Jahres 2026 geschrieben habe. Manchmal spiegeln sie meine tägliche Stimmung wider, manchmal berichten sie in sehr prägnanter Weise, was ich während des Tages gemacht habe. Die Haiku schreibe ich abwechselnd auf Englisch und Deutsch.
