Observation

We like to observe
We want to judge
Other people
Because looking at ourselves
Is simply too much

Sie beschwören den Frieden
Und huldigen den Kriegen
Ist es nicht eine Ironie
Mit der Schizophrenie?

This life is one of the hardest
My brother used to say
Yesterday you had a past to remember
Today your future was taken away

It’s as dark as it gets
When the cloudy mood sets
The target for the Moon
So the trouble moves soon

Willing not to be seen
Sometimes outside while walking
Along the streets under rain
Umbrellas in beautiful colours

It’s only water
Dripping along the wall
From the ceiling to the surface below
This constant flow

The lights go out on planet Earth
Who wants a piece for what it’s worth?

Wer nur wartet
Worauf?
Während Vögel gen Süden starten
Kälte unter die Erde kriecht

In his castle dark
Stood the monarch
All alone
Tapped his crown
And left.

Running breathless
Running pointless
Counting the beats
On all the streets
