wenn ich also heute beginne
oder eher morgen
heute ist nicht mehr lang
dann muss ich schließlich noch ins bett

there is a terrible illusion
out there
that comes with the confusion
that there is no chaos

the sirens call on Sunday
they use my phone
and make my father dial my number in the morning

those are the times ahead
might people say who fear the worst
do something different instead

Die Hände sind schon wieder rissig
Die Temperaturen ein wenig bissig
Der Regen fällt, aber nicht sehr lange
Hier gibt’s kein Wetter von der Stange

we won’t see the dangerous side
until it’s too late
until we all hate

Es ist Montag
Sie wollen wieder spazieren gehen
Die Gestrigen
Die Stummen

you have to be patient with yourself
says my Sunday and smiles at me
there might have been a day
where you have been more productive

We listen to each other
no more —
Fantasy is the key ability
of reason —

not anymore
it was falling at night
and I didn’t hear it
