Are we here
To do something stupid
Or to wait
For a miracle?

Sonnet #44: Emergency

We leave when rain falls down on our dreams
When hope forgets to cancel out this fear
And finish what we’ve started as it seems
This life is always terminal, that’s clear

greensleeves in vain

There’s flickering light
From here to nowhere
Within ten thousand years
The flickering light from here

Freedom Like a Hurricane

Had to write for work
It lasted longer than planned
Of course it did
So I needed fresh air

Waltzing Umbrellas

Willing not to be seen
Sometimes outside while walking
Along the streets under rain
Umbrellas in beautiful colours

Between Midnight and Dawn

She’s always standing at the corner / Between midnight and dawn
Her thoughts are drifting to noon next week / Always to the future

For the Love of the Seagulls

First time ever I saw a seagull / Trying to make metres at the sky
Against the heavy winds / Over the river Elbe.

I Like

I like thunder / I like rain
I like wisdom / That I can gain.
