it’s always the circumstances
someone else is at fault
you don’t have time today
and tomorrow much more to do

The Longest Day

The Sun is just an image of herself today
The clouds form shadows out of boredom
Look at yourself from deep within
And you’ll see hurricans of fire

f l o a t i n g

there is space
and there is time

oppression

Saturdays are always dark for me
coming back home from work on Friday afternoon
thinking I need to make the most of it
and doing nothing at all

g r o w i n g

embrace the unknown
let your spirit be shown
emerge from the storm
your heart keeps you warm

through the gates i see my wisdom grow

you have to be patient with yourself
says my Sunday and smiles at me
there might have been a day
where you have been more productive
