Cause in the distance there is nothing but the sea
Billions of years fall into a tree
The stars shine down on all of us
House an infinite grave and thus
From earth, fire, water and air
Above all this one decent scent makes fair
Advances to that only life we live.

Denn in der Ferne gibt es nichts als Meer
Milliarden Jahre schwer
Leuchten die Sterne zu uns herab
Beherbergen ein unendliches Grab
Aus Erde, Feuer, Wasser, Luft
Und über allem dieser Duft
Den nur das Leben schreiben kann.
