All the Laurels To the Fool

and the water is crawling deep under his skin
and the sun is burning leafs to ashes
and the storm is howling in both of his ears

The Sun is just an image of herself today
The clouds form shadows out of boredom
Look at yourself from deep within
And you’ll see hurricans of fire

Time seldom moves back
Circles, spirals and dark roads
Bright light in your back

there is a storm before the spectacle temporarily darkens the day
if you watch closely you can see the shadows moving far away

The heat makes me tired
High temperatures are definitely not what I desired
When I thought about summer

the shadow moves
without pausing
or even thinking
it does what it’s told

The pastel-coloured sunset dragged me outside
Made me putting my feet on the balcony
To sit on the warm granite

suddenly there was Summer
and it won’t go away anymore
it’s weather outside
but I’d like to stay in
