Through dirty glass the Moon is shining bright
The fields look icy white and lying pale
And suddenly the land’s without a sight
This foggy morning tells a frightening tale

Sonnet #75: Bitter Sweet Merry

The sweetness of a porridge break at dawn
While time is shifting backwards in the train
My thoughts are on a christmas market lawn
Instead of merry joy it’s raining pain

My mind is still trapped
Focussed too much on this tiny space of home and work
It needs to switch to the undiscovered country
With joy

I told Charon
Took his finger
Showed him the rest of the night sky

Mind Travels

Travelling back into the so-called good-old-times
Writing postcards
Smiling about felt nostalgia
Pre-Corona, you know

White Horses Deity

I’m surfing on the edge of time / Holy waters making way
Leavin circles on the beach / Forming white absurdities.
