Sonnet #26: Aurora

The heavens fall for clearer nights to come
Unsettling for the inner freedom’s past
While darkness covers Earth to frighten some
The Northern Lights in green and blue move fast
What difference does this make to all white days
It’s colder, yes, but beauty warms the soul
What beauty is though there are different ways
To see it everywhere then is the goal
In blue and white the days observe somehow
The human actions print their marks too deep
The days are gone that nature will allow
Their raping done with animals just weep
Aurora seems so far away this night
And won’t appear until the final fight.
