Sonnet #40: Pride

The month of June appears for some in rain
Their tears are often swallowed by the rainbows
The pride is sometimes covered by the pain
For people and their dreams when only time flows
The flags are colourful and voices loud
But actionism of the allies fails
For queers and gays who lack the need to shout
They want to live in peace and on own trails
Not every queer is colourful to see
Him from the farest distance glittering
It doesn’t matter if it’s he or she
They just want equal rights, that’s no big thing
When nights are safe for every human life
Humanity can start to grow and thrive.
