The Cherry Tree

There hangs a memory about fifth of January
Above the cherry tree of my imagination

Shattered and broken in mind
Perhaps disillusioned of some kind
Must those humans be
Who blow up fire works into the sky to see

jeg ser alltid den samme elven
dens bølger
flyt forbi meg

Thoughts are like treasures
They are kept within
The mind
When they aren’t written

Only seldom this occasion occurs
When you wonder
While you wander
In a winter wonderland

Er lächelt freundlich
Vielleicht ein wenig zu breit
Wird dafür dumm genannt
Weil er die Realität nicht wahrzunehmen scheint

Die Zahlen steigen
höher und höher
doch es sind nur Zahlen

Being out there
This wilderness
So pure
Just blue here

lass doch deine gefuehle V E R S I E G E L T
V E R D I C H T E alle erinnerung an sie
V E R S C H R O T T E sie im abgrund der zuversicht

Looking is the only way I allow myself to drool about the pleasures of life
Looking along the crowded street wishing it was empty
