Anyone Can See

all the wisdom can be found
any truth is there to see
still the loudest of the sound
is the lowest of humanity

there is a hurricane in my mind
it needs calming
does it?
or is it better to let it out at night

do you want to have fun
keep it to yourself; don’t run
with the crowd

Was soll das denn heißen
Habt ihr euch auf einer schmelzenden Scholle getroffen
Habt ihr Gin gesoffen

have been out and about
when there was no cloud
have seen
too much

the longer the wait
the worse the outcome

Was ist Glück
Fragt sich einer
Den am Abend Zahnschmerzen quälen
Er hat längst vergessen

Über den Stufen der Themse
Unter dem garstigen Teich
Atemlos aufs Geratewohl
Weder Fisch noch Fleisch

Da sitzt einer einfach nur auf einer Bank
Krank scheint er nicht zu sein
Mein ist das Land, in dem keine Zitronen blühen

I’m not seeing what I write
I concentrate on my teeth
Constantly observing my jaw
