He always left the escape door wide open
To flee the scene as soon as struggles grew
Sometimes he tried to face a case with coping
But in his mind was left what he went through

The ghosts of past are spreading wings of fire
They share their waste along the burning shore
We leave them there to keep each other dire
Because insane like us we wanted more
