Sonnet #33: Superiority

At dawn we search for brightness on the sky
See fluffy clouds that make the nightmares gone
In need to go to work we wave goodbye
But without breakfast we are prone to yawn
The coffee cups will grow in number fast
With cookies and unhealthy food around
When dinner breaks the feast routine at last
This stomach reaches back to be profound
Then soon blue sky will darken with a blush
This day is ending in dramatic fashion
With fairytales we try to sleep; hush, hush
We may forget the nightmares with a passion
Those are the usual days of humankind
And still we think we’ve got a special mind.
