in a living room of sunsets

feeling close is what i need
having someone to wait for me

Passengers passing by
Some with masks
Some without them
The daylight hits the soul

what are my thoughts
what have I done
when time goes by
my love has gone

There are abandoned places
You can look at them from home
There are abandoned items
Only seen in the wild

Life could be so easy
How many times do we use this phrase
Every week —
Every day —

It’s only water
Dripping along the wall
From the ceiling to the surface below
This constant flow

There was a time in our past / When we were told nothing will last
Forever remains nothing we know / You might throw your memories below

Consider:
The ten seconds you gain / For the life you’ll lose
When that truck hits out / And spills your blood / All over the tarmac plain.
